Conviction
Have a reason. Know what would change it. Let everyone else borrow certainty from the timeline.
About the journal
Markets, motion, and the good life, kept in one honest record.
I’ve always been drawn to places where conviction gets tested. Crypto just happens to test it faster—and more publicly—than almost anywhere else.
Trench Lyfe is my field journal from inside that world: market observations, calculated risks, travel days, quiet wins, expensive lessons, and the moments away from the screen that keep everything in perspective. I’m interested in asymmetric opportunities, but even more interested in the discipline required to survive long enough to recognize them.
I don’t pretend to predict every candle or have certainty on demand. My approach is simple: think independently, size risk intelligently, ignore most of the noise, and remain patient when everyone else is performing urgency.
The market is part of the story—not the entire life. Good conversations, hard training, long flights, fast cars, strong coffee, and knowing when to close the laptop all belong here too.
This isn’t a guru page, a signal service, or a promise of easy money. It’s simply an honest record of markets, motion, and the good life—from someone still earning his perspective in the trenches.
Have a reason. Know what would change it. Let everyone else borrow certainty from the timeline.
Position size is part of the thesis. So is walking away from the screen.
The market is important. It is not the whole world. Good coffee and a long horizon help.
Market notes, travel days, and the occasional expensive lesson.
No alerts. Just notes.
