Airport liquidity

Two delays, one gate change, and a coffee priced like a low-float asset. Airports are the only place where everyone is simultaneously early and behind.

The useful part: nothing to do for three hours except read. No screen refresh improves a thesis that was already written down. So I read the one I wrote on Sunday, found the line that said this stops being interesting above the range high, and did nothing about it, which was the correct amount of activity.

There is a version of this job where the airport is dead time. There is another where it is the only hour of the week without a live quote in front of you. The second version is better and it costs nothing except admitting the first one was a habit, not a strategy.

Boarded flat. Landed flat. The setup was still there in the morning, which is usually the sign it was a setup and not an urge.
