Rain Delay

Rain changes the pace of a city before anyone agrees to slow down.

The cafe was louder than usual, the coffee was average, and the setup I had been watching refused to become interesting. I spent an hour trying to improve the answer before admitting that the answer was still “wait.”

Waiting looks passive from the outside. Done correctly, it is active work. You update the facts. You test the thesis. You decide which movement matters and which movement is only the market entertaining itself.

There is always pressure to do something visible. Open a position. Post a prediction. Turn uncertainty into content.

But activity is not the same as progress, and impatience is not conviction.

The rain eventually eased. The chart did not owe me the same courtesy.

I closed the laptop, finished the chipped mug of coffee, and left without a trade. Some days that is the cleanest execution available.
