Fees

Every trade gets a receipt in Bags that shows each part of the fee. The creator's share of a Trench coin's fee is set by the coin's on-chain config; Trench pays the holder and bagworker shares out of its own share.

  • Trench coins: the 1% is Meteora's base pool fee. Meteora can add a volatility fee on top when the price moves fast.
  • Lifetime pay for the bagworker who brought a trader comes out of Trench's part, never on top of the trader's fee.
  • Coins from other launchpads: Trench routes straight to the coin's Meteora pool when that nets you more than Jupiter.

Sandwich protection

A sandwich is when a bot buys right before your trade and sells right after it, so you pay a worse price. Trench sends every trade through Helius MEV Protect at no extra cost, which keeps it away from validators flagged for sandwiching. When Jupiter Ultra carries an outside-coin trade, Jupiter sends it with its own protection. How it works

Holder pay is a fee rebate, not interest, and amounts can be zero. The rules are at /rules/holder-rewards. Not financial advice.
